November 17, 2005 7th/173rd Convention News
At last weekend's Society Convention at Brown, all chapters were represented. Business sessions ran smoothly under the direction of Honorary Chairperson Kristen Soule, BRN '99. There were several educational and literary components, including a discussion with two Student Life and Student Activities deans; a presentation by Anne Barylick, BRN '03, a professional EMT servicing the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina; a production by ARRR!!!, a pirate- and Celtic-themed a cappella group, and a tour of the RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) Museum. The usual social events ensued. There is a new Board of Governors and a renewed focus on the Alpha Delta Phi Society web site, expanding communications with undergraduate and graduate members, and seeking new student groups.
